FIELD: oil refining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining, in particular to delayed coking process for production of petroleum coke used in production of large-size graphitized electrodes and is aimed at increasing coke yield and improving structural organization due to weighting of the coking raw material based on the boiling point temperature. Method comprises heating decantoil (heavy gasoil of catalytic cracking) as feedstock and mixing it in a column for forming secondary raw material with recycle to form secondary raw material, heating secondary raw material to coking temperature and coking in coking chambers to obtain needle coke and coking distillate, which is fed into the fractional column bottom part to fractionation with obtain hydrocarbon gas, gasoline, light and heavy caking gasoils and still gasoil, steaming coke with water vapor and cooling with water, supply of steaming and cooling products to absorber equipped with mass exchange devices. Secondary raw material formation column is equipped with mass exchange devices; at that, water vapor is supplied to lower part of secondary raw material formation column, low-boiling hydrocarbons from upper part of secondary raw material production column are directed to absorber.

EFFECT: invention provides weighting of coking raw materials by boiling point temperature and, as a result, increase of its output and improvement of structural organization.
