SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Methods and systems for venting gases from an engine crankcase into an engine intake are disclosed. In one example, when the engine is supercharged in cruise mode, fuel vapors from the crankcase can be directed to the compressor inlet through the compressor bypass channel and the engine intake manifold. Gases from the crankcase can also be directed into the engine intake system through the throttle valve bypass channel.
EFFECT: invention allows efficient blowdown of crankcase gases at engine operation with different supercharging pressures, as well as at engine operation without supercharging.
