FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gearbox for vehicles. Gearbox comprises distributor gearbox (15C), main gearbox (15A) and range gearbox (15B). Range gearbox (15B) comprises planetary gear type unit (14) with crown gear wheel (22), sun gear wheel (18) and carrier (20), gearbox housing (12) surrounding planetary gear type unit (14). Range gearbox (15B) also comprises a first axially movable coupling (42) configured to engage carrier (20) of planetary row with gearbox housing (12), and second axially movable coupling (43) configured to engage crown gear wheel (22) with output shaft (28) to implement reverse gear in gearbox (2). Distributor gearbox (15C) and main gearbox (15A) together are configured to have a combined maximum gear ratio which is greater than the gear ratio in ratio gearbox (15B) when planetary gear type unit (14) switches to reverse gear.
EFFECT: higher compactness of the gearbox.
