FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of making a container and a moulded container. Disclosed is a method of making container by extrusion blow moulding of PET-based resin, having ultrahigh IV, making at least 0.9 dl/g. Moulded container has outlet at first end, a base having a chime at the second end, a body arranged between the outlet and the base, and the said chime connecting the body and the base, wherein the base of the container has a surface profile of 1 to 4.5 mil. Extrusion-blown moulding is performed in form of sand-moulded surface of section of mould base so that surface of base made by extrusion blow moulding container is textured by sand blasting. Housing made by extrusion blow moulding container is not textured sand blasting. Sandblast-processed surface of the section of the mould base is obtained by sand blasting of the surface of the section of the base of the mould by sand blasting medium containing angular grains having grain size in interval from 16 to 220.
EFFECT: technical result is a method of increasing impact strength when falling products made by extrusion blow moulding (EBM), in particular containers from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and containers made from PET resins, having ultrahigh intrinsic viscosity (IV), and articles obtained by extrusion blow moulding.
