SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. A network node communicates an indicator relative to a set of anchor zones (CA), including a first set of anchoring zones associated with a first RAT, and a second set of anchoring zones associated with the second RAT; performing, by means of a terminal device, fastening in a coverage area defined based on the CA set; and updating, by the terminal device, the communication network with the geographical location of the terminal device, a) when the terminal device enters the new coverage area different from the coverage area specified by both of the first and second CA sets as the first mechanism, or b) when the terminal device enters a new coverage area different from the coverage area specified by one of the first and second sets of CA, as a second mechanism.

EFFECT: technical result consists in coordination of simultaneous fastening on technology with multiple RAT in wireless communication network, which provides radio access for terminal device through first and second wireless radio accesses, operating with various radio access technologies.
