FIELD: transportation; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices using energy of vehicles. Axial generator for power supply of vehicle includes rotor with permanent magnets installed on it, fixed on axle of wheel pair, and stator with generating windings connected to fixed part of vehicle. At that, rotor and stator consist of two halves, symmetrically located relative to each other and mechanically connected to each other. Axial generator is made in the form of module, in which rotor and stator are arranged in single protective housing, through elastic connecting element connected with fixed part of vehicle and consisting of several interconnected parts. Stator halves are rigidly fixed between body parts extending between permanent magnets arranged with clearance inside shaped staples of magnetically conductive material. Profile brackets are radially fixed on rotor halves. Note here that bearing assemblies are arranged between profile brackets on posts.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of design, its installation or dismantling and maintenance of axial generator.
