FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for journal bearings of ship shaft lines. Journal bearing with individual lubrication comprises housing made detachable from two halves - lower and upper, support insert consisting of lower and upper insert, casing and oil feed devices. Cavities are installed on diametrical side surfaces of support bush, from left and right side. Carters have horizontal connector and consist of crankcase top and crankcase bottom. In the central cavity of the crankcases there are oil supply devices consisting of oil supply rings and upper oil cutters placed above them. In the upper crankcase the cavities for lubricating liquid are made, in the lower part of the craters there is a mud sump, from which oil gets into the zone, in which the oil supply ring rotates. End labyrinth seals consist of labyrinth aprons arranged on end surfaces of collars and oil bleeding rings with labyrinth caps.
EFFECT: technical result is increased reliability of bearing operation and increased permissible peripheral speeds of shaft up to 14 m/s, without use of external circulating lubrication system, elimination of barbotage of lubricating fluid at operation of bearing at high circumferential speeds and uniform distribution of oil on cavities at operation of bearing.
