FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: bearing includes a housing with a cover, upper and lower inserts attached to each other and installed between the housing and the cover, and an internal oil cavity separated from the external medium by labyrinth seals. It also contains an oil supply ring from bronze of “БрO5Ц5С5” brand or brass of “ЛС63-3” brand, enclosing the inserts and rotating around them, supplying oil to the inner diameter of the inserts, and made with possibility to stop rotation of electric motor shaft without damages when supplying oil by gravity under pressure of not less than 0.025 MPa. Housing and cover are made of high-strength cast iron of “ВЧ45” grade with flanges and are connected to each other with sealant applied on flange joints coaxially by means of pins with formation of spherical seat for self-installation of upper and lower inserts, mating spherical shape, along electric motor rotor shaft.

EFFECT: self-alignment of inserts on the shaft of electric motors during their installation, exclusion of intense friction zones (excluding edge effects) and higher reliability of the support assembly.
