FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, and aims at treating hernia of intervertebral discs and spondylarthrosis in any spine. Method involves visiting bath for 40 minutes. After the bath, the patient lies on the massage table on the abdomen and the massage therapist rubs the place where the hernia is found within radius of 15 cm around the hernia with the help of movements alternately with palms and fingers of two hands alternating movements along and across spine for 10 minutes. Then the massage therapist moves to the other side of the patient and makes the same movements for the same time on the other side. During this time, the massage therapist accelerates movements, warming up deeper layers of muscles on the required back area, wherein the massage therapist kneads the seals on this portion of the back near the spinal column. After that the masseur extends his hands to form a convex lens, and alternately upper and lower part of the palm produces smooth shock-wave movements at different angles within 5 cm on one side of the spinal column in the area of hernia. Movement is performed at a rate of up to 12 beats per second, wherein each hand lies down to 6 times in that time. Above manipulations are performed by the massage therapist for 5 minutes, then it switches to the other side and makes the same movements as much time on the other side of the spinal column. That is four times, twice on each side. Complex massage session is performed for 4 months, once a week, duration of massage is 30 minutes.

EFFECT: method provides effective therapeutic effect on the body, reduced length of treatment and prolonged preservation of the results.
