FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to skin stretching device (1) for reducing wound (2) surrounded by tissues (3). Device comprises elastically deformable cord (5) intended for continuation between tissues (3) surrounding wound (2), so that cord (5) tension creates force along tissues (3) surrounding wound (2) to reduce said tissues (3) to each other. Cord (5) has opposite first (5a) and second (5b) ends. Cord (5) in initial state has length between first (5a) and second (5b) ends and is elastically stretched for movement of first (5a) and second (5b) ends from each other. Cord (5) is made with possibility of suturing on wound (2) passing directly through tissues (3) surrounding wound (2), at least in two points (4) of suturing. Cord is made of biologically compatible material and comprises surgical needle (6) rigidly connected with first end (5a). Device comprises tensioning device (10) made with possibility to maintain tension of cord (5). Device includes intermediate inserts (30; 30'; 30''), made with possibility of insertion between cord (5) and tissues (3) surrounding wound (2), respectively, in points of suturing (4). Insert (30; 30'; 30'') has support surface (31; 31'; 31'') arranged with the possibility of resting on tissue (3) surrounding wound (2). Insert has guide surface (32; 32'; 32'') on opposite side from support surface (31; 31'; 31'') made with possibility to place part of cord (5). Guide surface (32; 32'; 32'') extends along the guide axis (A; A'; A'') and is concave relative to the guide axis (A; A'; A'').

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of introduction due to control of force, as well as providing uniform force along tissues surrounding wound.
