FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a multifunctional bed-constructor. Bed comprises a base and three moving sections, controlled by two mechanical screw drives through a system of levers located in the end part of the base. Bed consists of two main parts, one part of base contains head section hingedly connected to it, and second part of base, in which there are drives, comprises hip section, pivotally connected to base in connection of base parts and hinges of head section, and ankle section, pivotally connected with hip end. Main parts of the bed are bolted in places near hinges of the head and hip sections, fixed tubes and plates, and the link of the system of levers changing the position of the head section is connected by means of a bolt. Bed legs are inserted into yokes welded to base and are attached by twisting nuts, mattress is installed on mattress adapter, consisting of three parts, screwed to corresponding sections of bed, and other parts of bed have easy connection with legs, sections of bed or base.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at expansion of functional capabilities, spectrum of rehabilitation procedures, number of users with functional beds, improvement of patient care without application of significant physical efforts on the part of attendants and, as a result, positive impact on health of severely ill and disabled persons.
