FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nondestructive inspection of articles by X-ray computed tomography and can be used in aviation, oil and gas, nuclear industry, in machine building. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that, on the control article, two reference points are selected at a given distance from each other along the horizontal line, control article is placed between the radiation source and the radiation detector, placing the control item tightly against the radiation detector, determining the angle β between the two X-ray directions from the radiation source to the selected reference points:

where y is the distance between the x-rays incident on the radiation detector; Si is the distance from the radiation source to the test article; H is X-ray control article size, the X-ray control item is illuminated and the radiation transmitted through it is recorded with each change of the X-ray angle of incidence by a step of at least β/5, thereby approximating the radiation source to the control item by the Si/400 linear movement pitch. Obtained data are used to perform tomographic reconstruction of the control product, as well as three-dimensional visualization of the internal structure of the article, from which the value and location of the defect are determined.
EFFECT: control of products of complex shape.
