FIELD: medicine, applicable in diagnosis of oncologic diseases of the mammary gland in the early stage of the disease. SUBSTANCE: one of the device modifications has a source of penetrating radiation, collimator in the form of a regular multislot structure consisting of transparent and non-transparent sections and forming the radiation flux in the form a position-sensitive detector provided with a spatial filter emitting radiation that is coherent-scattered in the object. In the second modification the collimator is made for formation of a wide beam modulated in intensity at a high spatial frequency. The period of spatial modulation of radiation is less than the dimension of the pulse inhomogeneity, and the detector spatial resolution is already by an order of magnitude greater than the spatial modulation. EFFECT: revealed tumors of small dimensions due to registration of study of information carriers in the tissue molecular structure. 4 cl, 6 dwg
