POWER SUPPLY SOURCE FOR CONTROLLED ARTILLERY PROJECTILES AND MISSILES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F42C11/06 F42C17/04 F42C19/12

Abstract RU 2718477 C2

FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: power supply is designed for controlled artillery and rocket projectiles. In the sealed housing of the power supply connected to the projectile there is a ferrite cup of the core with the inductance coil, and at a certain distance from the open part of the cup there is an annular magnet with radial magnetization connected to the central part of the deformable diaphragm, wherein the axis of symmetry of the core, the magnet and the diaphragm coincide. During shooting under action of external pressure of powder gases the diaphragm is deformed, as a result of which the magnet moves in the direction of the core and a voltage pulse is generated in the inductance coil for charging of the capacitor of the projectile power supply source. Powder gas pressure disappears after firing, and if elastically deformable diaphragm is used, it together with magnet returns to initial position, as a result, second voltage pulse is generated in inductance coil. First pulse of electrical energy for supply of the projectile is generated before the start of its movement in the gun barrel, and the second pulse can be generated on the trajectory of the projectile flight. Power supply can be located at the bottom of the projectile.

EFFECT: technical result of proposed invention is increase in electric power generation efficiency for power supply of artillery and missile projectiles control equipment; safety of long-term storage of artillery ammunition.
