FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to producing differentiated cells by cell reprogramming. Method involves growth of nonpluripotent or somatic cells in growth medium stimulating growth, wherein selected cells grow with optimal growth rate. Further, nucleic acid(s) or protein(s) corresponding to transcription factors or cell development determinants are overexpressed or introduced, usually present in desired cells and cells cultivated in cell culture medium, where cells grow at a rate which is less than optimal speed, and in presence of agent (stimulant) stimulating differentiation.
EFFECT: methods are proposed to produce and use populations of multipotent and pluripotent cells resistant to diseases and capable of differentiation.
