FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons and can be used in artillery shells and shots of unitary loading. Artillery cartridge comprises a shell installed in cartridge shell with bottom recess, propellant charge arranged in bottom recess, external cavity enclosed between inner surface of sleeve and outer surface of part of projectile, arranged in sleeve, which is connected to bottom cavity by transverse holes. Throwing charge is made of two tandem-mounted cap-section sections with convex ends, forming in their coupling zone an annular cavity located in zone of transverse holes connecting bottom recess with external cavity. Shell is installed without thrust in shell bottom with formation of annular gap, through which bottom recess is additionally connected to external cavity.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of projectile maximum flight range.
