FIELD: military equipment, in particular, ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: the round has a shell, whose bottom is made in the form of a truncated cone, case with a bush, decoppering agent and a propellant charge with an igniter placed in its duct. The propellant charge is made in the form of a cartridge bag of a toroidal-sectional shape, whose toroidal part is positioned at the case bottom, and the sectional one is fastened by a decoppering agent made in the form of a spiral with formation of a gap between the case inner surface and the charge outer surface. The diameter of the duct of the propellant charge exceeds the diameter of the smaller base of the truncated cone, the igniter is positioned in the area of conjugation of the toroidal and sectional parts of the cartridge bag, the relation of whose heights corresponds to the condition: H_t/H_sp=0.4-0.5, where: H_t - the height of the toroidal part of the cartridge bag, H_sp - the height of the sectional part of the cartridge bag.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and close grouping of the artillery shot, and improved its ballistic characteristics.
