FIELD: removal and processing of solid wastes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment of biodegradable wastes. At the first stage of treatment mixture of wastes (4) is subjected to the first composting cycle. At the second treatment stage the mixture of pre-composted wastes (4) is subjected to drying to produce a mixture of dried wastes (4). At the third stage of treatment, the mixture of dried wastes (4) is separated into at least one part of heavy wastes (14) and one part of light wastes (13). Said portion of heavy wastes (14) is formed by wastes with bulk density heavier than the weight of wastes contained in said portion of light waste (13). At the fourth treatment step, a portion of light wastes (13) is subjected to a second composting cycle to obtain mixture (4) of cleaned wastes (20). Plant for treatment of waste mixture (4) contains at least one first composting compartment (3), at least one compartment (2) for drying mixture of pre-composted wastes (4), means for separation of mixture of dried wastes (4) into at least part of heavy wastes (14) and part of light wastes (13), at least one second composting compartment (3).
EFFECT: higher quality of waste treatment.
