FIELD: sorting.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to automation of sorting by means of rotary machine, in particular, for sorting of wastes for their processing, in particular, for their recycling or valorisation. Disclosed group of inventions can be used for sorting a mixture of wastes in which at least 10 percent, preferably, at least 20 percent of the weight of the mixture is formed by biodegradable wastes and at least 10 percent, preferably, at least 20 percent of the weight of the mixture is formed by non-biodegradable recyclable wastes. Sorting rotary machine for sorting waste mixture contains at least one first drum section equipped with first separation wall, passing along first axial length (L1) and comprising first series of through separation holes, allowing to separate waste mixture into first fraction of wastes passed through first separation wall through first series of separation holes, and to residual second fraction of wastes, one second drum section equipped with second separation wall passing along second axial length (L2) smaller than first length (L1). Second separation wall comprises a second series of separation through holes, allowing to separate residual second fraction of wastes into subfractions of small waste, passing through second separation wall through second series of separation holes, and to residual subfraction of large-size wastes formed by wastes, which dimensions exceed those of subfractions of small-size wastes. Waste series of separation holes comprises at least tertiary holes, at least promoting separation of residual second fraction of wastes on subfractions of small-sized wastes and subfractions of large-sized wastes by passing sub fractions of small waste through said tertiary holes, which have size, adapted to block passage of wastes with dimensions exceeding at least 200 mm. Tertiary holes have a section of elongated shape, and said elongated section has small diameter (Dp) and large diameter (Dg). Tertiary holes are distributed in the form of consecutive rows along the second length (L2) with alternation of at least longitudinal row of tertiary holes, wherein large diameter (Dg) of tertiary holes of rectilinear row is aligned in direction of second length (L2), and transverse row of tertiary holes, in which small diameter (Dp) of tertiary holes of transverse row is aligned in direction of second length (L2).
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of sorting wastes.
