FIELD: elevators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevating industry. Catcher comprises body accommodating eccentric latch and spring loaded brake shoe. Braking shoe comprises guide axles with discs springs installed on them with possibility of braking force adjustment, clamping plate and shoe with spring mechanism of its alignment. Eccentric latch is installed on housing of the catcher with possibility of rotation and comprises eccentric housing on which there are prisms, at least one of which is spring-loaded by means of plate springs and flat adjusting element (washer or plate).

EFFECT: improvement of manufacturability, reduction of lift removal force from catchers, improving its operational characteristics, reduction of overall dimensions and metal consumption of catcher design, improvement of operation reliability and service life.
