FIELD: textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry, in particular, to method of absorbing substrate treatment from hygienic paper or non-woven material. Disclosed is device (10) for applying coating on web of absorbent substrate, intended for application of coating material (21) on web (20) of absorbent substrate on a certain length, wherein the device comprises support device (3) configured to support the absorbent substrate web (20) moving at a rate from about 200 m/min to about 1,200 m/min; dispensing and conveying device (1, 2) configured to interact with the coating material storage and transportation assembly (30) so as to continuously coat surface (9) of the dispensing and conveying device (1, 2) with a uniform amount of coating material (21); and oscillating mechanism configured to impart oscillating movement to dosing and conveying device (1, 2) or support device (3) from engaged position (P1) to remote position (P2). Dispensing and conveying device (1, 2) is located relative to support device (3) so that transporting device (1, 2) applies coating material (21) on web (20) of absorbent substrate in contact position, in which web (20) of absorbent material comes into contact with support device (3) and dispensing and conveying device (1, 2) only in engaged position (P1).

EFFECT: optimized process of applying coating on web of absorbing substrate in converting device, optimization of economic effect, as well as possibility of discrete or periodic application of coating on moving web of absorbing substrate.
