SUBSTANCE: device for production of three-dimensional object (3) by means of gradual layer-by-layer curing of powder-like forming material (18) inside structural field (22) contains the following elements. Device (5) movable on structural field (22) for application of layer with thickness d2 of forming material (18) on already applied before layer of forming material, which has been cured in one area corresponding to at least part of cross section of said at least one object (3). Metering device comprising a plurality of powder feed devices (12b, 17a, 17b), which adjoin each other, are located perpendicular to the movement direction of the layer application device. Curing device (8) for hardening of powdery forming material (18) in one area, which corresponds to at least part of cross section of three-dimensional object (3). As well as control unit (11), which controls all elements of device for manufacturing object, and also determines maximum (MAX) of product of length of hardened area with thickness d1 in hardened before this layer in direction (B) of movement of device (5, 15, 150, 180) for application of layer on thickness d1 of layer, wherein d1 is layer thickness before hardening.
