FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for gluing end LF of web reeled up material has transportation devices 5, 21 for transportation of roll L, unwinding devices 7,9 for winding off material end LF, glue meter 11 for application of glue C to roll L and devices for re-winding of material end LF into roll after application of glue C. Meter 11 has slot 155 located on top through which glue is delivered, glue container 151 with above indicated slot 155 and movable member 157 inside which is dipped in glue filled into container 151 and can be moved towards slot 155 to deliver glue to roll when roll moves under slot. To provide gluing of end, the latter is moved off from surface of roll L and is wound off through required length and rolling of roll L with wound off end under slot is provided. Glue through slot is applied to section of material still on roll and then wound off end of material is again wound on. EFFECT: reliable sealing of rolls. 7 cl, 4 dwg
