FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of autonomous tidal damless low-power power plants and can be used to convert energy of sea currents (tides) into electric energy. Tidal accumulating HPP comprises pneumatic chamber and hydro-chamber, which move on their vertical supports located in tidal zone. Chambers are connected by means of blocks and power cables with step-up reduction gear. Tank-accumulator of water located above a level of an inflow of sea water, with an output hole to which the hydraulic turbine with the electric generator is connected is used. Hydrochamber is equipped in its bottom part with water filling valve, actuated at lowering of chamber on soil of water reservoir, and spring-loaded valve on its opening for water drainage through its receiving chute at chamber location in upper position, wherein lever of said valve is connected via additional tie rod and spacer with soil of reservoir.

EFFECT: technical result is simple design and enabling operation of the device in automatic mode without the need for continuous maintenance.
