FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to a method and apparatus for recording an electrocardiogram (ECG) of a vehicle driver. At that, using external electrodes (2, 3) located on vehicle steering wheel (7), differential ECG signal is recorded between driver's left and right hands (1). In-phase ECG signal is recorded. Power-amplified in-phase ECG signal is transmitted to screen (6) of rudder. Differential pumping signal is supplied to external electrodes for ECG measurement, which contains at least one frequency, and full impedance of the driver is recorded. Obtained ECG data are additionally processed using the in-phase ECG signal and/or impedance measurement data as noise signals. Quality of the derived ECG data is checked based on the obtained noise signal data and the noisy and/or artefact areas are excluded. ECG is analyzed based on the selected data.
EFFECT: providing a qualitative and reliable ECG signal, conducting reliable diagnosis and identification of the vehicle driver, reducing the effect of parasitic capacitances and interference, reducing material consumption, eliminating unnecessary interfering wire connections and elements, possibility of remote transmission of information, easier, convenient and ergonomic design of the device, reduced probability of road accidents, elimination of application of additional protective measures for electric safety of the driver, as well as safety and reliability of the structure.
