SUBSTANCE: soil treatment unit for sowing melons and cucurbits comprises an energy facility with tillage organs. Plow for smooth plowing has right- and left-turning plow bodies with chucks and is hung in front of power facility. Roller, furrow former, right and left levellers are arranged behind symmetrically along the longitudinal axis of the unit, which are installed in scapiform at an angle to direction of movement. Their width of catch is equal to width of grip in front of hinged plow. On both sides of the roller there are flat-cutting loosening arms in two rows.

EFFECT: higher quality of soil preparation for cucurbits crops sowing with reduction of metal consumption of the unit and improvement of traction-adhesion properties of power facility.
