FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to melon crops growing. Proposed method comprises strip plowing and presowing tillage. Soil is treated in one pass of tillage implement with plowing with incomplete rotation of soil formations. At that, cut formations of rectangular cross-section are turned in different sides from axis of symmetry of tillage tool, providing formation of irrigation furrows at their joint, and presowing tillage of soil is performed in the area of sowing.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of time for performance of operations for preparing soil for sowing melon crops.
