SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. The method consists in using a soil-cultivating tool, by means of which the cutting and turning of the layers of the sowing zone, strip subarable loosening, forming four parts along the width of the sowing zone, and the formation of irrigation furrows are carried out. The working bodies of the soil-cultivating tool are installed in such a way that during its movement, the soil of the middle parts of the sowing zone is initially cultivated with the first pair of plow bodies, wrapping the layers with plant residues in different directions from the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the tool and laying them on the extreme parts of the sowing zone, simultaneously with the turnover layers produce loosening of the bottom of the resulting furrow. The width of the extreme parts of the sowing zone is 10-12 cm higher than the width of the middle parts of the sowing zone. Then the soil layers of the extreme parts of the sowing zone with the laid soil layers of the middle part are treated with the extreme right- and left-turning bodies, wrapping and laying them in different directions outside the sowing zone. Further, deep strip loosening is carried out along the sowing line and an irrigation furrow is formed by moving the loosened soil layer in different directions from the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the tool.

EFFECT: reduction of energy intensity and improvement of the quality of soil preparation for sowing melons and gourds.
