FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to vehicle seats. Seat is adjusted as to height, contains a support frame with a seat cushion and a base interconnected by means of hinged-lever supports, a mechanism of levers movement in the form of a screw rod with a handle. Hinge-lever supports are located on the sides of the support frame and interconnected by cross-bars. Hinge-lever support is made of equal-length crossed levers, upper ends of which are hingedly fixed on frame, and lower ends are hinged on base. Upper crossbar on the side of the front part of the seat is made in the form of a cross-bar with a through threaded hole made in the horizontal plane in the middle part of the cross-bar perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. Ends of crossbar are arranged in horizontal guides. Lower ends of levers move in guides installed on base.
EFFECT: higher reliability of mechanism.
