FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used in various industries to obtain uniform galvanic coating on external surfaces of articles, mainly of complex shape. Method comprises placing in an electrolytic bath with an electrolyte an anode electrode, a cathode article and additional anode electrodes, to which two different voltage values in the forward and reverse directions are applied, wherein additional electrodes-anodes are arranged on electrically insulated rod fragments with individual current leads, wherein when coating is applied when changing polarity of applied voltages, different anode electrodes are switched off from power supply source for duration of cathode and anode periods, wherein in the forward direction the anode electrodes disposed at the shortest distance to the article surface are disconnected, and in reverse direction electrodes-anodes located at maximum distance to article surface are disconnected.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a more uniform coating on the article, as well as simplifying the implementation of the galvanic process.
