SUBSTANCE: invention relates to balance position games, where game elements (chess, checkers) are used as game elements, arranged by players by arrangement alternatively or simultaneously on balancing playing surface for game with observance of balance in accordance with established rules. Device for game consists of: playing table with field with figures, with upper ball bearing fixed to table bottom with upper ball recess, base with lower ball bearing having lower ball recess; ball in recesses of ball supports, stops; means for imparting a horizontal position to the table, wherein the table area exceeds the playing field area, the stops defining the table inclination angle relative to the horizontal line are fixed on the table lower surface and are adjusted, ball has a channel with a rod, the radius of which corresponds to the radius of the cylindrical surface of the channel, the depth of the channel is equal to the diameter of the rod; upper ball support has grooves with cylindrical part, radius of which corresponds to rod radius, and vertical dimension is not less than rod radius, rod length exceeds diameter of ball, and appliances for giving the table a horizontal position are located between the table and the base. Method of balance position game includes: arrangement of figures, providing horizontal position of table; holding a game; summarizing the game and announcing the winner. Method also includes: installation of rod in channel of ball and groove of upper ball bearing perpendicular to position of players, adjustment of maximum angle of table inclination, holding of game session during table balancing relative to rod till game session termination, table turn to the rod position parallel to the players position by an angle of ≈90°, holding the next game session while balancing the table relative to the rod, removing the rod from the channel, playing the game while balancing the table on the ball.

EFFECT: balance position game is proposed.
