FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely to systems providing combustion process of upper fuel layer in furnaces intended for heating of residential and non-residential premises. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the upper combustion system comprises an air duct for air supply to the fuel combustion zone, made with possibility of back-and-forth movement along the vertical row of holes with shutters, made on one of the furnace body sides, and the air supply shutters-closing mechanism inside air duct.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of furnace, such as reliability of furnace operation, simplicity of furnace operation, efficiency, which is achieved due to strictly controlled supply of oxygen to combustion zone, as well as absence of necessity of frequent fuel loading into furnace as it burns out accordingly.
