SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for use in a wireless device in a wireless communication system for transmitting uplink control information (UCI). Method comprises obtaining UCI containing a number of UCI-bits, converting UCI-bits into a set of modulation symbols, obtaining a configuration of resources, wherein the resource configuration is at least indicative of one or more allocated resources available for transmitting modulation symbols, converting modulation symbols to a resource configuration, wherein the resource configuration further indicates dedicated subcarriers contained in one or more allocated resources, and transmission of modulation symbols using the allocated subcarriers.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of number of PUCCH-formats associated with various users.
