FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to generating equipment. Tribo-electric energy generator (1) comprises first generating element (8) and second generating element (10). First generating element (8) contains the first triboelectric material (9), and the second generating element (10) contains the second triboelectric material (13). Movement of the second generating element relative to the first generating element results in output voltage due to triboelectric effect. Limiter (7) is configured to limit rotation of the second generating element in such a way that the second generating element can rotate only at a certain desired angle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in optimization of output power from small angular oscillations.
