SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use in a method of activating in situ a hydrotreatment catalyst for passivation of acid centers of a hydrotreatment catalyst. Described is a method of hydrotreatment in situ activation in a method for passivating acidic active centers of a hydrotreatment catalyst of at least one nitrogen compound, having at least two of the following characteristics: a) content of nitrogen by weight ranging from 15 to 35 wt %. with respect to total weight of nitrogen compound; b) number of nitrogen atoms ranging from 2 to 20 nitrogen atoms per molecule; c) a boiling point in range of 140 °C to 300 °C; and d) said nitrogen compound is in liquid form at room temperature and at atmospheric pressure; wherein said at least one nitrogen compound necessarily has characteristic b).
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of method for activation of hydrotreatment catalyst.
