FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for diagnosis of endogenous intoxication in laboratory mice for development of a non-toxic cryoprotectant, including intraperitoneal administration of the antifreeze test, blood sampling, drying of blood serum drops of 4 mcL at +37°C, analysis of the structure of dehydrated droplets facies under the microscope according to the indices: structural index, crystallizability, degree of facies destruction and intensity of the edge zone of the facies, characterized by the test substances facies being compared to the pattern of endogenous intoxication of low expression, and substances in which the facies texture is similar to the pattern with high severity, are considered to be highly toxic and unpromising, and substances in which the facies are structurally similar to the pattern with low severity are classified as low toxic and promising for cryoprotector development.
EFFECT: invention implementation allows to determine the degree of endogenous intoxication with high accuracy and expand the list of antifreeze screening agents for development of a non-toxic cryoprotectant.
