SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sheet base material of reinforcing fiber, a workpiece and a molded product from fiber-reinforced resin. Material is configured to maintain sheet shape by arranging and laying bundles of reinforcing fibers so that their longitudinal directions represent one identical direction, as well as fastening positions of adjacent bundles of reinforcing fibers to each other. In the base sheet material, the amount of the reinforcing fibers being placed is partially increased, so that the weight of the reinforcing fibers placed per unit area is uneven.

EFFECT: invention provides creation of sheet material from reinforcing fiber, which does not need to cut main material from reinforcing fiber for hardening in order to partially improve mechanical properties of molded product from fiber reinforced resin, increasing output of material, and which easily places base material from reinforcing fiber for hardening in preset position without position shift.
