REINFORCEMENT BY FIBERS OF ANISOTROPIC FOAM MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B29C65/62 B29C65/72 B29C44/56 C08J9/36

Abstract RU 2705952 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a molded article from extruded foam material. Technical result is achieved in a molded article from extruded foam material, in which fibre is partially inside molded article and surrounded by extruded foam material, and partially protrudes from first side of molded article and from second side of molded article. Extruded foam material is obtained by means of an extrusion method involving the stage I) of providing polymer melt to an extruder. Stage II) is the introduction of a foaming agent into the polymer melt provided at stage I) to produce a foamed polymer melt. Stage III) - extruding the foamed polymer melt obtained at stage II) from the extruder through the spinneret hole into the low-pressure region. Foamed polymer melt expands to form foamed foam material. Stage IV) - calibration of foamed foam from stage III), at which foamed foam material is fed through forming tool to form extruded foamed material. Fibre is placed in extruded foam material at angle of 10 to 70° relative to the direction of thickness of the molded article. At that, two or more fibres are located in the molded article at an angle to each other. At that, this angle is in range equal to 360°/n, where n is an integer.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced absorption of resin with good adhesion of surfaces on interface boundary.
