SUBSTANCE: installation (1) for rearrangement and transportation of metal strips wound in coils (4) contains at least one permutation facility, preferentially unloading trolley (3) for coils intended to receive coil (4) from coiler drum (5) and to transfer coil (4) to loading facility, preferably on trolley (13) with mandrel, as well as one transport facility, preferably rail vehicle (11) for removal of coils, intended for withdrawal of mounted on this loading facility of riot (4), characterized in that said at least one relocating device (10) made in the form of a suspended structure is arranged and maintained above the level for said loading facility and transport facility inside the plant. Invention also relates to a method for rearranging and transporting metal strips rolled into coils, as well as a method of converting such a plant.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of simultaneous transportation of rolls in vertical and horizontal position without dismantling existing plants.
