METHOD OF EFFECTIVE DOSE SELECTION OF BETA-ADRENERGIC BLOCKING AGENTS IN CARDIOMYOPATHIES IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/53 G01N33/49

Abstract RU 2719909 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to biochemical pharmacology, and can be used to select an effective dose of beta-adrenergic blocking agents - BAB in cardiomyopathies in children. Thrombocyte aggregation is evaluated. Thrombocyte aggregation is analysed in whole blood by an impedance method in a cuvette with electrodes; the aggregation inducers used are soluble activators of thrombin receptors - TRAP-reagent and collagen - COL-reagent. Area under the aggregatogram curve is evaluated. Rate of thrombocyte aggregation is assessed on the instrument screen, by the aggregation curve and area under curve U, which is calculated automatically. If the TRAP-test values are within range of 62.0–86.0 U, and the COL-test is within range of 16.5–36.0 U, measured on 14th day of the BAB therapy, the dose of the BAB is considered to be effective. If TRAP- and COL-tests exceed the boundaries of these intervals, the selected dose of BAB is considered to be ineffective, requiring correction with subsequent evaluation of the aggregation curve in dynamics.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of correcting a dose of BAB if necessary, which enables a timely assessment of the degree of patient's sensitivity to a certain preparation and dose thereof, by evaluating the aggregation function of thrombocytes by the value of the tests with underlying BAB.
