FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to a sheet of Ti-containing ferritic stainless steel, used for production of automotive exhaust circuit elements. Sheet has thickness of 5.0 to 11.0 mm and the following chemical composition containing, wt. %: 0.003 to 0.030 C, 2.0 or less Si, 2.0 or less Mn, 0.050 or less P, 0.040 or less than S, from 10.0 to 19.0 Cr, 0.030 or less N, from 0.07 to 0.50 Ti, from 0.010 to 0.20 Al, the rest is Fe and unavoidable impurities. Value K, defined by ratio K = -0.07 × Cr-6790 × Free(C + N)-1.44 × d + 267, is 150 or more, where Cr is content of Cr (wt. %) in steel; Free (C + N) is the value (wt. %) obtained by subtracting total content (wt. %) of C and N present in the extraction residue extracted by electrolytic extraction from the total content (wt. %) of C and N present in steel; d is the mean diameter of the crystalline grains (mcm) obtained for the observation surface obtained by polishing the section parallel to the rolling direction and the sheet thickness direction using the secant method with a linear dough line specified in Appendix C of the JIS G0551:2013 standard.
EFFECT: sheet has high fracture toughness at large thickness.
