FIELD: chemical or physical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydroisomerisation catalyst comprising a basic extrudate which contains at least one molecular sieve selective in isomerisation of n-paraffins, first aluminum oxide, having pore size distribution, differing by full width on half-maximum normalized to volume of pores, from 15 to 25 nm g/cm3, and second aluminum oxide having pore size distribution differing by full width on half-maximum normalized to pore volume from 5 to 15 nm g/cm3. Data of the first and second aluminum oxides have a volume of nanopores in range of 2 nm to 50 nm, of from 0.7 to 2 cm3/g. Said catalyst additionally contains at least one metal selected from group consisting of elements of group 6 and groups 8–10 of periodic table. Invention also relates to a method for hydroisomerisation of hydrocarbon material, contacting said feed with said hydroisomerisation catalyst to obtain a hydroisomerised effluent stream.
EFFECT: improved hydrogen efficiency, high output of the product and quality.
