FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery. Vitrectomy is performed, and a posterior hyaloid membrane is removed. Internal boundary membrane and air tamponade of vitreal cavity is removed. Further, an autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) fraction with increased thrombocyte content is used in an amount sufficient to close the macular rupture, which is introduced directly into the rupture.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the surgical efficiency by eliminating the risk of the PRP portion reaching the anterior chamber to form fibrin films, as well as improving patient comfort, since it is not necessary to face down for 3 days.
