FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to radio communication. For use in user equipment performing cell reselection with respect to a cell which provides Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS), there are stages at which: receiving a system information message containing an indication whether one or more carrier frequencies support carrier type MBMS or carrier type of the further improved MBMS (FeMBMS); selecting, based on the capability of the user equipment and the carrier type of one or more frequencies carrying the carrier frequency for cell reselection; and fixed in selected carrier frequency.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing MBMS service continuity.
