FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for wireless communication in a system which supports operation in a narrowband domain from one unit of system bandwidth resources. Method comprises: identifying the location of said narrowband system bandwidth area as a specific one resource block within the broadband system width area; and transmitting location indication of said specific one resource block within broadband system width area, wherein indication is transmitted in one or more of main information block (MIB) or system information unit (SIB), including signaling that said narrowband area is within system bandwidth.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of effective device detection and synchronization using narrow-band communication.
