FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, namely, to vertical take-off and landing aircraft, which uses vane propulsors as load-carrying and pulling force. Method of operating the vane propulsor consists in the fact that at rotation of the rotor cylinder of the propulsor with the cam gear the wing-like blades are rocked, kinematic control radius is changed relative to rotation axis, sine blades mechanisms change geometry and configuration of relative location of blade and flap profiles. During rotor rotation air circulation through end rotor disks inside the cylinder is provided by setting of angles of attack of elements of end spokes. Vane propulsor comprises rotor, surface of which forms wing-like blades. Each blade is provided with rod of its rocking drive. Propulsor comprises torsion bars, radial spokes, a mechanism for changing cyclic angles made in the form of an eccentric, a sine mechanism which controls flap deflection relative to the blade, consisting of a link mounted by one end on the rim of the end disc, the other end being movably connected to the slider rigidly connected to the flap.
EFFECT: higher propulsion force generated by the vane propulsor.
