SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of detecting cracks in displays. Display panel includes a display region and a peripheral area surrounding the display region, the peripheral region is provided with a contour crack detection structure. Contour structure of crack detection includes contour detection wire and first switching circuit for detection. Display panel includes a first subpixel and a first data line electrically connected to the first subpixel, a first end of the first data line is electrically connected to the first end of the loop detection wire, second end of the first data line is electrically connected to the second end of the loop detection wire through a first switching circuit for detection, and the second end of the loop detection wire is configured to receive detection voltage.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of detection of cracks.
