SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking article with a filter, which contains: an aerosol-generating element; a filter comprising a filter material and one or more filter wrappers wrapped around an outer peripheral surface of the filter material; and an outer wrapper wrapped around the outer peripheral surfaces of the end portion of the aerosol-generating member and the filter, wherein the outer peripheral surface of the outer wrapper has an arithmetic roughness of less than 2.0 mcm and filter, which is wrapped with outer wrapper, has reduction at compression of 60 % or more after application of compression load of 2.5 N to length range of 10 mm in direction of its diameter.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure restoration of filter shape.
