FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pipe insulation technologies, in particular to a pipe with a steel casing providing super long thermal insulation, and a method for its machining. Pipe has relatively good characteristics of heat insulation and corrosion resistance. Due to the fact that annular cavity of pipe is in vacuum state, tube is equipped with support frame and filled with material with variable phase state. When the pipe is used for operation of underground energy, temperature in the working steel pipe can be effectively maintained invariable at reduction of temperature outside.
EFFECT: pipe with steel casing according to present invention has long service life, and can also significantly reduce costs for operation of underground oil and heat source and reduce heat losses during operation.
