FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of large-size cores for moulding ceramic workpieces (or a model for making porous moulds) from epoxy-ceramic material. Method involves application of metal layer of epoxy resin inner layer with added filler in form of mixture of ceramic fights with size of 3–10 mm in amount of 30 to 40 wt. %, finely dispersed ceramic powder with size of up to 1 mm or sand in amount of 30–40 wt. % with addition of alcohol of 0.5–2 wt. %, which after complete drying is treated to the required size and profile. At that prior to application of epoxy resin inner layer a layer of adhesive primer with thickness of 1–4 mm is applied on article metal frame. Inner layer of epoxy resin mixture is applied in at least two layers with intermediate treatment of each layer on lathe. Thickness of applied layers makes 25–35 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of defects during manufacture of large items from epoxy-ceramic material.
